Happy 4th...from Margaret!

Good morning!  I was the lucky winner of the Bugaboo sketch challenge and my prize was 10 digital stamps...woo hoo!  Oh my gosh, I had so much fun picking them out!  I love Margaret, and Stella, and Gus....  I just had to work with one of them right away.  Since the 4th is right around the corner, I went with Margaret Calendar Month July.  Is she a hot tamale or what?  I'm loving her lipstick!

Margaret is colored with pencils and all of the white stars have some sparkly glitter...nice and festive!  I used some Doodlebug DP that I have had in my stash for years, added some ribbon and twine, along with another glittery star and a button.  The sketch is from Seems a Little Sketchy; I thought it was perfect for Margaret!

Image: Bugaboo Digital Image
Ink: Printer
Paper: G.P. 110, PTI Blueberry Sky, Enchanted Evening, and Pure Poppy, Doodlebug DP
Embellies: Barbara Trombley's Art Glitter in "Angel Dust", PTI Blueberry Sky Grosgrain Ribbon, The Twinery Twine, PTI Enchanted Evening Button
Extras: Prismas/Goo Gone, EK Success Star Punch, The Paper Studio Sticky Doos

I am also entering my card in the following challenges:

Card Makin' Mamas: Red, White, and Blue
Catch the Bug Challenge Blog: Use Twine, Buttons, and a Sentiment
Crafty Sentiments: Red, White, and Blue
Gingerloft Challenge: Red, White, and Blue
House of Gilli: Red, White, and Blue

Pile it On: Make Your Own Embellishment
Tip Top Tuesday: Independence Day or Stars and Stripes
Totally Stampalicious: Red and White and ?
Use It Tuesdays: Be Patriotic! (I used Doodlebug DP that has been in my stash for years!)

My TIP (for Tip Top Tuesday) is:  Make what you like and don't second guess yourself!  My husband told me there was way too much going on with this one, but that's okay...we all have different tastes.  Create and enjoy the process!

Thanks for stopping by!

Second, your card is priceless. I love the coloring and the layout. There is a lot going on in this card, but it's a lot of perfectly balanced accents and it brings your eye right back to the image. It's wonderful and your tip is excellent advice!
