Chocolate Bunny Birdbrain

Good morning!  We have a fun, new sketch for you at From the Heart Stamps...along with a fun, new image in Faith's shop!  Isn't this Birdbrain the cutest?  She's just my kind of girl...a chocolate bunny in each hand!  Here's the sketch:

The image is colored with pencils and I've given her some glittery "eye shadow".  I pulled some bright, cheery papers from my stash and embellished with a snippet of ribbon, a couple of buttons, and a crystal.

Hey Chickie

Good morning!  We have a new sketch for you at Catch the Bug...check it out:

Fun sketch, right?!  I have to admit the hexagons threw me off a bit, but that's why they call it a challenge!  The chicken is colored with pencils and of course I had to add some "glittery eye shadow"...I really couldn't resist.  I was able to work 4 patterned papers into the card...I love it when I can make that work!  I've embellished simply with some Swarovski flatback crystals.  I have a friend in mind for this one...she has chickens at her acreage and is kind enough to give us fresh eggs!

Happy "Keester"!

Good morning!  WE have a new sketch for you at Sketch Saturday, along with Bugaboo for this week's sponsor...it's going to be a great challenge!  Check out Cathy's awesome sketch:
Easter is coming soon, so I thought it would be fun to go that route; I went with Gus and humor.  Can you really go wrong with that?!  Gus is colored with pencils and I've accented the eggs with glitter.  I love the idea of the image panel being a giant banner!  I adhered it with mini brads...afterwards I wished I would have matted the panel in chocolate brown but the entire panel was already adhered to the card base...and it was stuck!

hats off, GRADUATE!

Good morning!  We have a new sketch for you at From the Heart Stamps...and I really love it!  Check it out:

I decided to get started on graduation cards and this adorable Birdbrain was perfect!  I turned the rectangle into a square because I really hate to cover up cute paper!  Are any of you like that?  The Birdbrain is colored with pencils and I refrained from adding glittery "eye shadow"...this one looks like a boy bird for sure!  I've done some simple layering and embellished simply with die cut stars.

Sketch Saturday #352

Good morning!  We have a new sketch for you at Sketch Saturday and a returning sponsor, Simon Says Stamp! Check out the great sketch:

This sketch made me think "Baby Card" which is one of my favorite kinds of cards to make!  I pulled some of my favorite papers from my stash along with a onesie die and went to work; I kept it clean and simple, embellishing with just glitter on the onesie and a button.

Paper: PTI Stamper's Select, Doodlebug Patterned Papers
Embellies: Martha Stewart "Cotton Candy" Glitter, PTI Hibiscus Burst Button
Extras: MFT Onesie Die-namics Die, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Foam Tape

Please check out the rest of the Saturday Girls' creations here, along with the challenge details.  If you play along, you be in the running to win a prize from Simon Says Stamp!

May Your Blessings Outnumber the Shamrocks that Grow

Good morning!  We have a new sketch for you at Sketch Saturday.  It's a fun one...you can keep it simple or dress it up a bit...I like the option!  Meljen's Designs is our sponsor for the week; the lucky winner will receive 4 (uncolored) digis!

I went with a fun sentiment...love the way it fills the image panel.  The shamrock is colored with pencils and I've added a touch of glitter for embellishing; the fun paper is from my stash.  I like how this one turned out...clean and simple!
