Good morning! I don't have a card to share today, but I wanted to share a photo of the cupcakes DD and I made yesterday. We made the "Malted Milk Cupcakes". They are so yummy! You are supposed to crush the malted milk balls to garnish the top, but with 2 kids helping out, I thought we would just go with a single malted milk ball. The buttercream frosting is flavored with malted milk powder, while the cupcake itself is a very light chocolate with milk chocolate chips.

If you have kids (or just enjoy cupcakes), this cookbook would be the one for you! The recipes start with a cake mix and you add a lot of extras. By the time you are done, you would never know you started with a mix; the cupcakes are truly delicious! The book includes many original flavors; it is hard to decide which one you will make....

That's all for today. I'll be back tomorrow with a card for Verve's 3rd anniversary blog hop. Thanks for stopping by; I'll see you then!

Bellarific Friday/SFYTT

Good morning! Today I was able to combine 2 challenges to make 1 card; I am always so excited when I can do that! The challenge for Bellarific Friday was to make a Christmas card and I used Jen Del Muro's Sketch For You To Try.
Have you ever made a card and things just failed to come together easily? Well, that's what happened to me here! The polka dotted background panel started bigger, but just kept getting smaller and smaller. First I cut the red mat unevenly; after I trimmed it down, I discovered I took more off than I had planned. What is that about measure once, cut twice?! Then I cut the dots bigger than the red mat, so I trimmed down the dots. I colored the image panel and thought it looked really nice, I had done some nice shading.... Well, I discovered the red didn't match! I colored over it with a darker red; by this time I was too frustrated to do any shading. Next I cut it out using my Nestabilities. I was trying (for the first time) to leave a portion of the image outside of the edge. Well, one side looked great (I was so excited!), but the other wasn't so hot...it was unusable. There was no way I was going to color the image again, so I got the bright idea of cutting the image out and gluing it to a new diecut. Well, let me tell you, Bellas are not so easy to cut out! Alrighty then, after all this I have an image panel! Yay!
Image: Stamping Bella
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, SU! Black Marker and Ruby Red Marker
Paper: PTI Stamper's Select, SU! Riding Hood Red, KI Memories DP
Embellies: Wright's White Grosgrain Ribbon, Barbara Trombley's Art Glitter in "Angel Dust", Doodlebug Glitter (yellow)
Extras: Prismas/Goo Gone, EK Success Round Punch, EK Success 3D Dots
Ready to hear more? As I was putting the card together, I was trying to make a plan for what to use for the small circles on each side of the image panel. I looked through my stash and really couldn't find anything good, so I made my own faux brads by gluing 2 circles together for a bit of dimension and then coating them with glitter. Not so sure what I think about them....
As I was editing the photo, I noticed that the DP was showing through the white ribbon, so I added some white paper strips under the ribbon and photographed it agian. (See second photo...the ribbon shows through.)
Now today, as I am posting, I realize that I forgot to color/glitter Bella's belt.... Some cards are not meant to be....
Thanks for stopping by; I hope you can enjoy some (non-stressful) craft time today!

STMC16: Happy Halloween

Hello! I discovered a sketch on the Stampendous blog yesterday and decided to play along. I figured if there was "Christmas in July", why not "Halloween in July"? I LOVE making Halloween cards!

This was a pretty simple sketch, which is nice because it leaves the options open for embellishing! I went with minimal layers which is something I don't often do, so it was a bit quicker to complete than some cards.

I asked DD what she thought of the clouds and moon...she told me she would take them off. I know clouds aren't usually black, but they are at night.... Right? I opted to leave them on; I think it looks fun and different. I also used a bit of black grosgrain ribbon and some Swarovskis to finish it off.

Image/Sentiment: Stampendous
Ink: Memento
Paper: SU! Naturals White, PTI True Black, My Mind's Eye DP
Embellies: PTI True Black Felt, Wright's Black Grosgrain Ribbon, Swarovski Crystals in "Jet"
Extras: Prismas/Goo Gone, PTI Cloud Dies, Spellbinder's Nestabilities, SU! Corner Rounder

I need to quick get ready; I'm taking DD and a friend out for lunch and miniature golfing. Sounds like a fun afternoon!

Thanks for stopping by; enjoy your day!

SC291: You drive me bananas!

Hello! I have a fun little card to share with you using today's SCS sketch. There was another small rectangle on the bottom right side, but I opted to leave it off and go with a charm instead. Changito is colored with pencils and I paper pieced the bananas using the flip side of the DP. (I have had this DP for quite some time and have been wanting to use it...I think it's perfect for my little buddy Changito!).

Image: Stampendous
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, SU! Black Marker
Paper: PTI Stamper's Select and Dark Chocolate, SU! So Saffron, Reminisce DP
Embellies: PTI Dark Chocolate Ribbon, Pewter Banana Charm (my stash)
Extras: Crayola Colored Pencils/Goo Gone, DMC Floss, EK Success 3D Dots

Well, that's all I have for now. I need to go fill out paperwork for the kids' Dr. appointment; they are both getting their physicals today. They are worried that they will have to get shots, especially DD. She already had 1 shot at the Dr.s on Monday and 7 at the dentist yesterday getting orthodontic work done. Today may call for a trip to the ice cream shop.... Or maybe a frappe or smoothie from McDonalds....

Thanks for stopping by; have a good one!

Tuesday Morning Sketches Birthday: Week 4

Good morning! It's time for another challenge from Tuesday Morning Sketches! This is the last week of our birthday celebration, so I hope you will play along with us...as always, there are prizes!

This week our sponsor is DRS Designs and our theme is "Christmas in July". As soon as I saw this adorable face, I knew this image was the one for me! As I was looking through my DP, I found this fun paper from Daisy D's. I thought it might be fun to make a card a bit different than my normal style. I love the distressed look of the paper and thought it would be fun to combine with Kraft.

I used sketch TMS #43. The image is colored with pencils and I used some Distress Stickles on the jingle bells, along with a black gel pen on the eyes. The card is embellished simply with some buttons and twine.

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: PTI Kraft and Dark Chocolate, Daisy D's DP
Embellies: Distress Stickles in "Antique Linen", PTI Red Buttons, White Button (my stash)
Extras: Crayola Colored Pencils/Goo Gone, Sakura Black Gel Pen, Spellbinder's Nestabilities, PTI Twine

I hope you will go on over to the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog and check out the rest of the DT's cards. Don't forget to play along!

Thanks for stopping by today; have a good one!

It's Bellarific Friday!

Good morning! Today I have "kinibella" to share with you. I just love this image...love her polka dotted bikini and she's so fun to color!
I found out 2 things when making this card:
1. The new SU! In Color "Blushing Bride" is a perfect match to this old SEI paper "Aunt Gerti's Garden".
2. I have a hard time making this DP look good...seems like whatever I make doesn't turn out well, considering how much I love the paper.
Does anyone have any ideas? I wonder if it's because the pattern is so big or what?
Anyway, our challenge this week on Blogabella was to use either Bella or Stella on a card...well, that's easy!
Image: Stamping Bella "kinibella"
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: PTI Vintage Cream, SU! Blushing Bride, SEI "Aunt Gerti's Garden"
Embellies: Cream Satin Ribbon (my stash). Swarovski Flatback Crystals in "Light Rose"
Extras: Prismas/Goo Gone, EK Success 3D Dots
As I said, I had trouble with this card. It did look a bit better after I added the satin ribbon and the crystals. Maybe I need to try a bigger sized card which would show more of the DP? I'm stumped!
Head on over to Blogabella for some eye candy; leave a comment and you have the chance to win some Bella Bucks as well!
Thanks for stopping by; have a good one!

Tiddly Inks "Halloween in July" Blog Hop

Happy Halloween! It's a bit early I guess, but what a great idea to celebrate "Halloween in July"! I love making Halloween cards; it was a toss up between scary and cute, but I opted for cute when I saw this new Tiddly Inks image "Candy Avenger". Now that is the kind of super hero I would like to be! Do you see the evidence written all over her face, in the form of a Hershey bar?

The image is colored with pencils and accented with glitter. I used purple on her outfit and yellow on the pumpkin. Her dress is paper pieced; I also did a bit of sponging around the edges to add definition. The DP is by Doodlebug and I used a Cuttlebug Doodlebug die for the bat, skull, and candy corn. It was easy to make my own decorative pins; I just used straight pins and foam tape. The shapes are cut from Doodlebug sugar coated cardstock, but it is hard to see the sparkle in the photo.

Image: Tiddly Inks Digital Stamp
Ink: SU! Creamy Caramel, SU! Black Marker
Paper: G.P. 110, PTI Stamper's Select and Pure Black, Doodlebug DP and Sugar Coated Cardstock
Embellies: Doodlebug Glitter, Black Grosgrain Ribbon, Handmade Stickpins
Extras: Prismas/Crayolas/Goo Gone, Cuttlebug Doodlebug Die, EK Success 3D Dots

This blog hop is a bit different than most. You can visit the Tiddly Inks blog and all the cards will be linked up there. You can just click on each different card to view them and comment. It officially starts at 6 p.m. Central. There will be prizes, so check it out!

I was the lucky player drawn for last weeks challenge "Match It Up". I received a $10 shopping voucher and was able to get some neat new Tiddly Inks Halloween images. Christy is offering a sale; 35% off orders over $15.

I hope you enjoyed my "Halloween in July" card. Thanks for stopping by!

Tuesday Morning Sketches 1st Birthday: Week 3

Good morning! Our Tuesday Morning Sketches sponsor this week is Lindsay's Stamp Stuff; you can find her at My Grafico Digital Arts and Crafts Store. The image I used today is from the "Doodle Flowers" set.

I used sketch #27 and kept my card rather clean and simple this week. The dragonfly is colored with Prismas and I applied a thick layer of glitter to the wings. I used a black gel pen for the eyes and I like how it gives shine and dimention; the eyes seem to "bug out"!

Image: Lindsay's Stamp Stuff "Doodle Flowers"
Paper: G.P. 110, PTI Stamper's Select and Pure Black, Doodlebug DP
Embellies: Barbara Trombley's Art Glitter in "Angel Dust", Bella Dots
Extras: Prismas/Goo Gone, Sakura Black Gel Pen, EK Success 3D Dots

Please be sure to stop by the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog to see all the beautiful samples from the DT. Links to their individual blogs are also in my sidebar. I hope you will get the chance to play along this week as there will be prizes!

PTI Sympathy Card

Good morning! I was asked, by my mother, to make some sympathy cards. She wanted one to take to the visitation and 2 others; 1 for the son and 1 for the daughter. I thought this one would be appropriate for the son's family.

I made a card like this for a PTI swap; this time I just changed the sentiment. It's really quite simply embellished, with the piercing and Bella Dots. The layering of the flower gives it a bit extra "oomph".

I mentioned before how I use a marker on the cut edges if I am doing paper piecing. I don't know about you, but my cutting certainly isn't perfect! I really had to concentrate while cutting the pieces out; there are so many lines on this flower that it's a little tricky. I did make a wrong cut, but I just kept going since it was on the middle layer. When I adhered it to the bottom layer I made sure to put a 3D Dot on the mistake, so it would be held together. I don't think anybody will ever know! The picture above shows the pieces before using a marker on them.

This picture shows the pieces after I have taken the marker, held it perpendicular to the flower and traced the edges. The SU! markers are perfect for this; I use the brush end. I'm not sure if you can see the difference or not, but this little trick really takes the finished card up a notch.

This last photo shows the dimention from the side. You can see the color on the edges. I hope you found the pictures helpful.

Tiddly Inks Blog Hop/SU! New In Color Comparisons

Good morning! I wanted to let you all know about the blog hop Tiddly Inks is having on July 22. Many of us have heard of Christmas in July, but have you ever heard of Halloween in July? How fun is that?! Christy will be releasing new images July 19, or you can pick from some of the current images. The "Gothic Cute" line would work great for this. I am looking forward to seeing the new images and making a card! Click on the link to read the details. I hope you can play along too!

I wanted to share some color comparisons of SU! new In Colors. The photos were taken outside and I did not retouch them at all. I was going to present them in alphabetical order, but forgot to reverse the order when I uploaded the photos.... Oh well, here they are!

First is Poppy Parade; it was not what I had expected at all.... I was expecting a true red but it has an orange cast to it; however, I think it is really pretty. These are the colors shown, from left to right: Cajun Craze, Tangerine Tango, Poppy Parade, Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, Rose Red.

Next I have Pear Pizzazz and the matching twill ribbon, compared to Certainly Celery. The ribbon is a perfect match to The Pear Pizzazz, but I think it would look good with the Certainly Celery too.

Second is Pear Pizzazz. The colors shown, from left to right: Certainly Celery, Pear Pizzazz, Wild Wasabi, Gable Green, Green Galore, and Mellow Moss. Mellow Moss has a grayish cast in comparison with the other greens.

Next I have Peach Parfait and the matching twill ribbon, compared with Pumpkin Pie. I think the ribbon looks great with both colors. I really like the new twill; it is a nice weight and looks really classy.

Third I have Peach Parfait. The colors shown, from left to right are: Groovy Guava, Cameo Coral, Peach Parfait, Pumpkin Pie, and Only Orange. At first when I saw the Peach Parfait, I thought it looked a lot like the Groovy Guava; you can see they are very different after all.

Fourth I have Concord Crush. The colors shown, from left to right are: Lavendar Lace, Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant, Concord Crush, and Rich Razzleberry. The Concord Crush looks really blue in the photo; standing alone, it looks much more purple.

Fifth I have Blushing Bride. When I first took a look at this, I thought it was exactly like Pretty in Pink.... Not really though! The colors shown, from left to right are: Blush Blossum, Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, and Pretty in Pink.

I really think the new In Colors are gorgeous! I hope this has been helpful to you. I placed my order through my SCS friend, MommaPatti; if you don't have a demo, I would highly recommend her. She is a great gal and was so prompt at getting my order in. Thanks so much Patti!
We are looking forward to the annual Lion's Club Chicken Bar-b-que. It is famous here! Portable grills line the street in front of the "Sea Wall". They usually serve around 7,000, which is about what our population is. Some say the population doubles in the summer with the "summer people", although I am not sure if that is accurate or not. It is the best chicken I have ever had! It is flavored with a spice rub and they spray something on while it's grilling. They serve 1/2 chicken, cole slaw, baked beans, bread and butter, and lemonade or coffee. We always remark about the "weak" lemonade, and the fact that we don't ever eat plain white bread and butter.... Let me tell you though, it all tastes delicious! We are all looking forward to it. If it's not windy, we will get our meal and eat it on the boat.
Have a great day!

STMC14: Fun and Frivolous!!!

Hello! Today I have a fun and frivolous card to share! It's for the Stampendous Saturday challenge, which was a sketch plus a window card. I really don't have experience with window cards, but I was ready to dig right in..... Let me tell you, this one took a bit of time because I had a hard time getting the frame around my window just right! Now that I know how, it will be much easier next time....

When I was making my plan for this card, I looked through my box of Stampendous clear stamps and found this cool cupcake. It's kind of like Mr. Potato Head...you can mix and match the facial features and there is even headwear! How cool is that? My favorites are the ones I used today, because I love to add "makeup"! When I was looking through my paper I decided to make a birthday card and this American Crafts DP is perfect for that.

The image is colored with Prismas. Sometimes I have a hard time matching the colors, like today. You would think that with 120 pencils in the tin there would be a match, but I have discovered I can layer 2 different pencils to make the shade I want. I start with the lighter hue and add a bit of the darker hue over the top. Then I blend before adding more of the darker hue if needed. I try the combos out on scratch paper before coloring the image.

For embellishment, I added lots of glitter around the edge of the white frosting, some ribbons and a candle. I like how it turned out; this might be a keeper for DD's birthday next month.

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: PTI Stamper's Select, Sweet Blush and Dark Chocolate, The Paper Studio Vellum, American Crafts DP
Embellies: PTI Sweet Blush Saddle Stitched Ribbon, SU! Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon, Barbara Trombley's Art Glitter in "Polar Bear", Cake Mate Candle
Extras: Prismas/Goo Gone, Spellbinders Nestabilities, EK Success 3D Dots

It's Bellarific Friday!

Good morning and happy Friday! We've almost made it to the weekend! We had a sketch for this week's Bellarific Friday challenge. The three strips on the sketch reminded me of ribbon, and when I was going through my DP I found this Basic Grey and knew it would be perfect! I paired it up with "Stella looooves ribbon".
Stella is colored with pencils and die cut with Nestabilities. I added some glitter to Stella's crown and wand, then dotted her eyes with a black gel pen. I aged the background DP with a bit of ink and finished off the card with some buttons tied with floss.

Tiddly Inks #13/SFYTT15

Hello! Are you surviving the heat? Or is it not hot where you are located? Today was a good day for indoor activities. We did venture out and check the garden; the kids had told me about the "huge" zucchini and I couldn't wait to see it for myself! It was probably only 6 inches, but it was rather amazing because none of us had even seen it before. We have lots of lettuce and lots of green tomatoes. This is our first year having a "real" garden, so we get excited about such things!
My card today works for 2 challenges:
Tiddly Inks #13: Match it up
Jen Del Muro's SFYTT15
I think it is great when I can combine 2 challenges! The image is a Tiddly Inks digi and her gown is paper pieced. I have added lots of sparkly stuff to her halo and wings. If you ever get the chance to try Art Glitter, go for it! I love it! It is super sparkly!!! The basic bones of the sketch are there, but I did make some small changes with the embellishing of the card.
Image: Tiddly Inks Digital Stamp
Paper: G.P. 110, PTI Stamper's Select, SU! Melon Mambo, g.c.d studios DP
Embellies: Barbara Trombley's Art Glitter in "Polar Bear", Bella Baubles, SU! Melon Mambo Polka Dot Grosgrain
Extras: Prismas/Crayolas/Goo Gone, Sakura Black Gel Pen, EK Success 3D Dots
That's all I have for today, but I will be back soon with some color comparisons. I received a SU! order and I thought it would be fun to show the new In Colors. In my opinion, they are lovely! It was such fun to get that box of goodies from Mr. Brown!
Thanks for stopping by; enjoy the rest of your day!

Tuesday Morning Sketches

Good morning! It's time for another Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge! Our sponsor this week is Inktegrity. If you'd like to play along, you may choose your own sketch! I choose #30 this week.
Since this is the blog's blogaversary, I was planning to use the word "celebrate" on my card, but it wouldn't fit! I used "for you" instead. For two of the panels I used vellum which is adhered with a tiny dot of clue in the corners; I then used some Swarovski flatbacks to hide the glue. They add a nice touch of sparkle!

Check out the blog for the Design Teams' samples; while you are there, check out the new look. I hope you can play along too! There are lots of prizes up for grabs this month!

PTI Swap Card: all things grow with love

Good morning! I'm so happy it's Friday; I get the day off before working the weekend. As usual, there is long list of things to do, but the most important is to get my PTI swap cards done! This swap, hosted by my friend Amy over at SCS, is due the 15th! I always wonder why I am a procrastinator.... What is wrong with me? LOL
The PTI swap group rocks! As I was threading the buttons for this card, I was thinking I wouldn't thread 78 buttons for just anybody!
Image/Sentiment: PTI "Everyday Button Bits"
Ink: SU! Old Olive
Paper: PTI Stamper's Select, Ripe Avocado, and Spring Rain
Embellies: PTI Simply Chartreuse Swiss Dot Satin Ribbon, PTI Buttons
Extras: Cuttlebug "Paisley" Embossing Folder, Spellbinders Nestabilities, DMC Floss
I did discover something interesting when making this card; PTI's Ripe Avocado ribbon is a very close match with their Simply Chartreuse. I opted to go for the dots because I like the way it mimics the dotted leaves.
Thanks for stopping by today; I hope you have a good one!
Angela
P.S.
I think I will be doing a bit of shopping today too.... DD is in hot pursuit of a Webkinz to mail to her friend for her birthday...it can't be any Webkinz, it has to be "just right"! Wish us luck!

It's Tuesday Morning Sketches time!

Good morning! This week marks the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog's 1 year anniversary! We will be celebrating all month and Melissa has some fun things planned, including blog candy! The blog also has a new look, so you will want to check that out right away!
This is week #53 and our sponsors are Melissa and Whimsie Doodles. We didn't have a particular sketch for the week, it was "anything goes", so we got to choose from past sketches. I choose week #43 which is pictured above. The last time I used this sketch I flipped it...this time I kept it horizontal.
This card also works for the Stampendous challenge this week which is also "anything goes". My stamp of choice would pretty much always be Changito!
I had my heart set on using this cute little Changito ballet dancer. Isn't she just a hoot? I thought it would be fun to paper piece her outfit. I love this paper from g.c.d studios, it has the prettiest distressed stripes on the flip side. I had originally planned to use the stripes as the background, but it just didn't look "right" when I was putting the card together. So I just flipped the piece of paper over and used the floral. Problem solved!
Changito is colored with pencils before adhering her outfit. I used a Nestabilitie die to cut the circles for the border and the sentiment panel. The image panel is elevated with 3D Dots and the card is embellished simply with 3 Bella Baubles. I like how this one turned out; working with Changito always makes me happy!
Image: Stampendous
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: PTI Stamper's Select, SU! Melon Mambo, and g.c.d. studios DP
Embellie: Bella Baubles
Extras: Prismas/Crayolas/Goo Gone, Spellbinders Nestabilities, EK Success 3D Dots
I hope you like my Changito card and I hope you will head over to the
Tuesday Morning Sketches blog to check out the other DT's cards...last, I hope you will play along with us! We also have a couple of guest designers this week. Links are in my sidebar for the DT's blogs.
I hope you had a fun and safe 4th of July. We actually had our parade Monday, followed by a much anticipated trip to the carnival for the kids. Time spent at the carnival was cut short though, since the ride didn't agree with one of the other passengers on the ride. He ended up having an "accident" on DS..... Ack! Let's just say he was very disgruntled to have to come home early and shower.... Poor kid!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Tuesday!

Tiddly Inks Challenge #11: What's Up?

Hello there! This week the Tiddly Inks challenge was to use red, white, and blue.... I wanted to do something a bit different than the obvious patriotic theme. I thought of this image and realized it would be perfect!

What's Up? Well, not her ice cream scoops, that's for sure! This little cutie had a triple decker cone, but has lost her Coconut Cream and Blueberry Buckle...that just leaves her with the Pomagranite Pizzazz. Poor thing! Do you think the 3 second rule applies? LOL

The image is colored with pencils and her dress is paper pieced. I used the long edge of a rectangular nestie for the scalloped border on the horizontal strip. I also place a 1/4" strip of the Ruby Red underneath the organdy ribbon, so the DP wouldn't show through.

Image: Tiddly Inks Digital Stamp "Whoops"
Sentiment: Hero Arts
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: G.P. 110, SU! Ruby Red and Brocade Blue, Frances Meyer DP
Embellie: Ruby Organdy Ribbon (my stash)
Extras: Prismas/Crayolas/Goo Gone, Spellbinder's Nestabilities, EK Success 3D Dots

I think I'm hungry for some ice cream! How about you?

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the holiday; blessings to the people, and their families, who serve in the military for the USA. You are appreciated!

CAS Lady Bug Thank You

Hello! A lot of you probably know I am a huge Changito fan...also Calendar Chicks and Fluffles. You can imagine my excitement when I found out Stampendous has a blog with challenges! I made a copy of the sketch, which was a bit of a challenge since it was a square. I had a plan, but when I found these lady bug buttons, I decided I had better go with my "Lady Bug Fluffles" stamp!
This card is super clean and simple. It's 4 1/4" square; I did try to stay true to the sketch, but I left off the brads in the corners of the image panel. I thought they would be too much with the buttons.... The image is colored with pencils; Fluffles does have a bit of gray shading, too.

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: PTI Stamper's Select and Pure Black, SU! Real Red
Embellie: Favorite Findings Buttons, SU! Black Grosgrain Ribbon

This is a pretty cool sketch; I'll probably be using it again. I wish square cards didn't cost more to mail, though....
Thanks for stopping by!

Bellarific Friday: Square Cards

Good Friday morning! The challenge for Bellarific Friday was to make a square card. I don't make a lot of them because of the extra mailing costs.

I have to say I'm not thrilled with the way this one turned out. I like the paper, the image, etc. but when I attatched the front to the River Rock card base, it all went downhill from there.... I used the Mono Multi glue, so there was no way to "unstick" it! I added the ribbon and another layer behind Stella to make it work.... Ack! Anybody ever have this happen to them? Anybody have any ideas how to fix this one?

Flowerpot Chick

Good morning! I used yesterday's SCS sketch for this card; I always look forward to seeing the new sketch on Wednesdays! Do any of you like to play the sketch challenges over there? I print them off for future reference, since coming up with "a plan" is the hardest part for me. It's a great jumpstart; I just look for an image to fit and go from there....

The chick is colored with Prismas and I just used a bit of twill for embellishing. I had initially thought I'd do a little piercing and add some brads, but opted for a simpler look instead.

Thanks for stopping by!
