Non-traditional Christmas
Good morning! It's time for another challenge from the Tuesday Morning Sketches gang; this week our sponsor is Close To My Heart and it's our judged challenge...non-traditional Christmas. The set I'm using is called Love Blooms and it would be perfect for scrapbook pages.
The flowers and leaves are stamped in 2 steps...first the outline, then the middle. I have used brown for the outline, and Versamark for the middle. I then cut my flowers out. DP is PTI; I did a bit of distressing and added some ribbon and Swarovski flatbacks.
Images: Close To My Heart "Love Blooms"
Ink: Palette Burnt Umber, Tsukineko Versamark
Paper: PTI Scarlet Jewel, Dark Chocolate, and Ripe Avocado, PTI DP
Embellies: Wright's Brown Grosgrain Ribbon, Swarovksi Flatback Crystals in "Ruby" and "Smokey Topaz"
Extras: Spellbinder's Nestabilities, QuicKutz "Celebrate" Basic Phrases Die, The Paper Studio Sticky Doos
I hope you will head on over to TMS to check out the sketch and the DT's creations. Why not play along?
Thanks for stopping by today!

(Click here for the goodie giveaway!)
Good Tuesday morning; I hope you enjoyed a great Labor Day weekend! Time to go back to work and since it's Tuesday we have another fun sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. Our sponsor this week is Doodle Pantry. When I went to the site to look for an image, I discovered there was a sale, so I stocked up on some pre-colored images which include coordinating papers too...how fun is that? They are great for making quick cards!
I like this week's sketch...I think it is quick and versatile...I like that! I simply printed my image and paper, did a bit of matting, added a ribbon and button...voila'!

Ink: Printer
Paper: G.P. 110, PTI Berry Sorbet and New Leaf, SU! Basic Black

Creative Card Crew: Dimension Challenge
Good (early) morning! Today the Creative Card Crew has another fun challenge...dimension! Our sponsor for this fortnight is Stamp Fairy; I love Gerda's images! I made a stop at Gerda's store and picked up some images...today I am working with "Lenny Bee2"...he is a cutie for sure!
I printed the image twice so I could cut out Lenny's head, arm, and a wing after coloring them. I used dimensionals to add a bit of height. I did a bit of distressing for added texture and made use of a lot of dies to embellish my card. Let's not forget the glitter...my favorite embellishment of all!
