It's also Catch the Bug's monthly BINGO challenge; I played a diagonal line with Charm-Animal-Bright and Bold, here's the BINGO card:

The 4th of July is right around the corner, so I thought I better get busy and get some cards made!  I went with Bugaboo's "BBQ Sock Monkey" and some adorable Doodlebug paper from my stash.  (I love Doodlebug...their whimsical goodness makes me happy!)  I've colored the monkey with pencils and used a black gel pen for his eyes.  I've embellished simply with stars and a charm.  Here's my full card:

So Lucky...to have you in my life.

Good morning...Happy St. Patrick's Day!  I've got a card to share using Faith's newest image and this week's From the Heart Stamps sketch.  We now have a weekly twist with our sketches...this week it is "Monochromatic".  I'm going for monochromatic with a splash of color....  LOL  Actually I was already working on a card that was monochromatic and then Faith put this adorable image in the shop and I decided to start all over.  I thought this Birdbrain would be cute with a splash of pink on her belly so I just went with it....

Lucky Shamrock

Good morning!  I have a card to share using the adorable Hamlet PigWit, who is From the Heart Stamps March Stamp of the Month.  This set comes with 2 versions; the one I have used today and one with a butterfly and daffodils...both are adorable!

If you played along with last month's progressive challenge, you received this image for free.  If not, there is still time to play along....  You can purchase the image in the shop or if you spend $10 in the shop, you can enter THINKSPING to receive it free.  If you play along this month, you will automatically receive the April image for free.  Sounds good, right?  Right!

I have used the Mojo Monday sketch and kept it clean and simple.  Hamlet is colored with pencils; I have tried to color him as I remember the pigs when I was growing up on the farm.  They aren't really white, but they are not pink either...just a hint of blush is how I would describe them.  I've added just a touch of glitter to a few of the shamrocks and coated the die cut shamrock with glitter.  I like how this simple sketch lets Hamlet shine!

SC358: Baked with (heart)!!

Good morning! Yesterday I was able to work the SCS sketch challenge into my day off. I generally try to keep the measurements of my card as close to the sketch as possible, so I go on the hunt for a stamp that will "fit". My Changitos and Calendar Chicks are my "go to" stamps, so I decided to use this fun image. Luckily, I found some fun DP in my stash too!

Changito is colored with pencils and his eyes are accented with a black gel pen. The heart in the sentiment is accented with a bit of glitter. I added some brads, seam binding and a charm to complete my card.

Image/Sentiment: Stampendous "Changito Baker" Clear Set
Paper: PTI Vintage Cream and Dark Chocolate, SU! Baja Breeze, Moxie DP
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Sakura Black Gel Pen
Embellies: Martha Stewart Crystal Fine Glitter, Spare Parts Brads, SU! Seam Binding, Karen Foster Charm
Extras: Prismas/Crayolas/Goo Gone, Spellbinder's Nestabilities, The Paper Studio Sticky Doos

Thanks for stopping by today; have a good one!

TMS#71

Good morning! Melissa from Tuesday Morning Sketches has another fun sketch for us this week; I like the different shape.... Our sponsor this week is Prairie Fairy Designs.
My image is called "Holly Fairy" and she is colored with pencils and accented with glitter. It's a bit hard to see in the photo, but her dress is a very pale pink and her wings have a bit of pink as well. I made a frame out of 2 Spellbinder's dies and put the image behind it. I did a bit of fussy cutting around the parts that would have been hidden, so I could pull them to the front of the frame. The card is embellished simply with some fancy brads. I contemplated using ribbon, but didn't want to distract from the delicate DP and image.
Image: Prairie Fairy Designs Digital Image
Paper: G.P. 110, PTI Fine Linen, SU! Cranberry Crisp, Imaginisce DP
Embellies: Karen Foster Brads, Barbara Trombley's Art Gliter in "Polar Bear"
Extras: Prismas/Crayolas/Goo Gone, Spellbinder's Nestabilities, EK Success 3D Dots
Thanks for stopping by today; I hope you will head over to the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog to see what the rest of the design team has made for your viewing pleasure.
