It's Tuesday Morning Sketches Time!

Good morning! It's time for another sketch from Melissa at Tuesday Morning Sketches; this week our sponsor is Glitterbabe's Art Shop I used the "Draco Dragon" digi; I thought this image would be perfect for a children's birthday card.
I colored the image with Prismas/Goo Gone and applied glitter to the "pinkish" areas. Well, a strange thing happened.... The "pinkish" areas were colored with the same purple pencil that I colored the flower with, but when I applied the glue to apply the glitter the areas turned "pinkish"! Hmmmm, I don't recall that ever happening before.... I used the same glue pen as usual too; the EK Success Squeeze and Roll 2-Way Glue Pen. This is a great pen; the tip is like a ball point pen so it is very easy to control where the glue is applied. So I guess maybe this would best be used for a girl's birthday...not sure how a boy would like getting pink.... I added a Making Memories charm and some antiqued silver brads to further embellish the card.
Image: Glitterbabe's Art Shop Digi Stamp

Fun card, Angela! It's strange that the glue turned the pencil color pink, but this little dragon looks cute in pink, too. Awesome DP really pops with those mat colors!

The little charm is a fabulous touch! And I know how my son would feel about a pink card. ;) But it is darling for a girl. Love it!

Darling card. I love the striped paper with this image, looks great. I've never noticed my glue pen changing the color, that is strange, but I think your colors look fantastic.
