As you hop along, please leave a comment on each entry.  One random commentor will be selected on each blog to win an image of choice from the store, plus an image of choice for a friend.  In addition, one commentor on the From the Heart Stamps blog will win a $15 gift voucher to the store!  Yes, it really is Christmas in July!

If you have arrived from our Guest Designer Kelly's blog, you are in the right place.  If not, you may want to start at the From the Heart Stamps blog so that you don't miss anything.

Here is my project, using Peace Joy Love:

I pulled some older papers from my stash and kept it traditional with red and green.  The image is colored with pencils, the eyes are dotted with a black gel pen, and I've added a bit of sparkly "snow".  I used this week's sketch and embellished with a snowflake topped with holly.

Ink: Printer, Sakura Black Gel Pen
Paper: PTI Stamper's Select, SU! Real Red, Doodlebug Patterned Papers
Embellies: Art Glitter, Dress it Up Button
Extras: Prismas/Crayolas/Goo Gone, Spellbinders Nestabilites, MFT "Let it Snow" Die-namics Dies

Now head on over to Calypso's blog to see her fabulous creation!

Thanks for hopping with us today; the hop will end on Monday, July 7th at 6:00 a.m. EST.  Winners will be posted, on the From the Heart Stamps blog, on Wednesday, June 9th.

Sweet Treats

Good morning!  It's time for a new challenge from the Creative Card Crew; for this fortnight we would like to see "Sweet Treats".  Mmmm, sounds good!

I went with a cute Stampendous image from my stash.  She is colored with markers and pencils, and I've added a few touches of glitter...the gingerbread men, her apron, and oven mitts.  For embellishing I've added some mini cookie cutters and brads.

Image/Sentiment: Stampendous
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: G.P. 110, SU! Tempting Turquoise, Kaisercraft DP
Embellies: Dress It Up Cookie Cutters, Spare Parts Brads, Martha Stewart Crystal Fine Glitter (gingerbread men), Art Glitter in "Polar Bear (girl's outfit)
Extras: Spectrum Markers, Prismas/Crayolas/Goo Gone, Spellbinder's Nestabilities, EK Success 3D Dots

You can check out the rest of the DT's creations and the challenge details here; we do hope you will play along!

I am also entering my card in Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge: For a Child challenge.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #123

(For Creative Card Crew post, scroll down or click here.)

Good morning! It's time for another fun sketch from Melissa at Tuesday Morning Sketches! Our sponsor this week is Tiffany Doodles.

I have to confess that I was a bit stumped by this weeks' sketch...I kept trying to figure out what I could stamp in the 3 panels...then it hit me that I didn't have to stamp in them all.... Alrighty then, off to find a small image that would "fit"!

The image is colored and accented with glitter and Crystal Effects. I paired the image with some Making Memories DP; the holly berries are red foil, which you can't see in the photo. (Why is it so difficult to photograph shimmer and shine? You don't always see the full effect.) I added a diecut, some ribbon, and a holly embellishment to finish the card.

Image: Stampendous
Paper: SU! Vintage Cream and Pure Poppy, SU! Wild Wasabi, Making Memories DP
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Embellies: Barbara Trombley's Art Glitter in "Angel Dust", SU! Crystal Effects, PTI Red Satin Ribbon, Dress It Up Holly
Extras: Prismas/Goo Gone, SU! Top Note Die, SU! Dimensionals

I hope you will check out the rest of the DTs' take on the sketch here; better yet, why not play along? I would love to see your interpretation!

Thanks for stopping by!

Creative Card Crew: Merry Christmas from Claus

Hello there! It's time for another challenge from the Creative Card Crew; this fortnight our challenge is "monochromatic" and our sponsor is Paper Pretties, who provided me with this adorable image. Isn't Claus just the cutest?

I printed my image on Sahara Sand and colored just a portion of it; I like how the red/green really stand out against the S.S. and black. I dotted Claus' with a gel pen and added a bit of glitter to his hat. I finished the card with a simple holly embellishment.

Image: Paper Pretties Digital Image
Paper: SU! Sahara Sand, PTI True Black, Fancy Pants Designs DP
Ink: Sakura Black Gel Pen
Embellies: Dress It Up Holly, Barbara Trombley's Art Glitter in "Angel Dust"
Extras: Prismas/Goo Gone

Please head on over to the Creative Card Crew blog so you can check out the rest of the DT's goodies. Would love to see you play along too!

Thanks for stopping by!
