give thanks
Good morning! It's "Oldie But Goodie" Day at Catch the Bug...I love going through all Jodie's images to find one that strikes my fancy! I decided to go with a Thanksgiving theme today...this Ruby image is perfect!
Ruby is colored with pencils; I bet you're wondering why Ruby's dress is red? If you look closely at the DP you will see that some of the words are written in red, I wanted to add an extra splash of color. I've embellished simply with a sentiment and mini brads. The sketch is from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

Stella's Whipping up Thanksgiving Dinner
Good morning friends! We have a fun, new Inspiration Challenge for you at Catch the Bug! Here is the inspiration photo:
I went with "Stella-Turkey". As I was coloring the image, I thought how I would love to cook in Stella's kitchen...she has fancy Rachael Ray cookwear! Don't you love the bright colors? LOL Plus, she made mashed sweat potatoes...yum! The sketch is from Sketch Saturday; I'm too late to enter their challenge, but I loved the sketch. I've embellished simply with a touch of glitter on Stella's earrings and some brads. I even decorated the inside too... This image came with a cheeky sentiment: Warning! Not for the faint at heart! LOL Will have to send this one to someone who will appreciate the humor....

Give Thanks
Good morning! I'm here with a new challenge from the Creative Card Crew...this fortnight our challenge is "Anything Goes". Since Thanksgiving is right around the corner, I thought I'd go with that. I used a fun card kit from my stamping friend Jessica. Take a look at all the goodies in there...I have enough to make many more cards...what a fabulous array of goodies!
I used the sketch from Sunday Stamps. The image is colored with pencils, and her eyes are dotted with a black gel pen. I added Bella Dots, ribbon and a couple of leaves for embellishments.

Paper: PTI Orange Zest and Dark Chocolate, The Paper Studio DP

Clear Dollar Stamps October Release
Hello! It's release time at Clear Dollar Stamps and it's a big one...there is something for everyone!
First, I'm using Romans' Road Rainbow and I went for a clean and simple look. I re-sized and combined the image and sentiment, then colored the image with pencils. The panel is framed with black and I've added tiny black brads to the sun's eyes. This set comes with outlines, pre-colored images and many coordinating sentiments. I love the cheery, colorful image!

Next I'm using Eat More Ham, which features a turkey on the run plus funny sentiments; this set also comes with pre-colored images or outlines. The image is colored with pencils; I've printed, colored, and cut out extra tail feathers to add a bit of dimension. The patterned papers are distressed and crumpled to add a bit of texture. For embellishing I turned a sentiment into a banner and added some coordinating buttons.
