TMS#155

Good morning; I'm back with another sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.  This week I went with a fun image from Bugaboo that I've had in my stash...I was in the mood to make baby cards...I love making them!

The image is colored with pencils and I've accented the card with buttons/twine.  I have to tell you, picking out buttons is never an easy process for me...I have to dump them all out, sort through them, etc.  Do any of you do this?  Anyway, I had fun picking these out...not so much fun threading the twine though....  LOL

Image/Sentiment: Bugaboo Stamps
Ink: Printer
Paper: PTI Vintage Cream, SU! Ruby Red, DP (unsure, it was a scrap)
Embellies: PTI Buttons and Baker's Twine
Extras: Prismas/Goo Gone, Spellbinder's Nestabilities, The Paper Studio Sticky Doos

I hope you will head on over to the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog to check out the rest of the DT's creations.  What will you create with this week's sketch?

I am also entering my card in the following challenges:

Make It Monday: Anything Goes
Sarah Hurley Challenges: Buttons
The Squirrel And The Fox: Kids or Babies
Whoopsi Daisy Challenge: Use Up Your Stash (really old scrap of DP, and buttons...I have a lot of those!)

Thanks for stopping by!

Angela

This is a sweet card, I love your cute image and button embellishments.
I have all my buttons stored in colours, but like you I still end up tipping them all out and having a good sort through.
Thank you for joining us at Whoopsi Daisy this week.

Too too cute, Angela. I also dump all the buttons out searching for just the right on. A friend of mine cuts narrow (1/16 th inch or so) of paper (angled at the end) and uses those to simulate twine.

This is soooo cute! I really LOVE that image and sentiment!!!
I am a button dumper, too! Like Marie suggested, a this sliver of paper is easy to thread and tie!

Oh, this is CUTE! I love that sentiment. The image reminds me of Popeye--do you remember him? And, I do the same thing with my buttons, too. It takes forever to gather up all the rejected ones when I'm finished, too.
