Good morning; it's New Release Tuesday at Catch the Bug! Today I'm working with "Fanny March". I'm loving the combo of pink and green right now, so I've given her a pink dress and added a pop of pink to my papers. Here's a close-up:

Stella Says Sketch

The ewe is colored with pencils and I've given her a pink hat...because...why not?! (I wanted to add a pop of pink to my card!) I've added just a touch of subtle glitter to the shamrocks. Here's a close-up:

Freebie Friday...at Catch the Bug!

Good morning! It's Freebie Friday at Catch the Bug and Scarlette Cafe is up for grabs. It looks like she is out relaxing with a Martini.... Hmm, I've never had a Martini! Have you? If so, I would like to hear your recommendation! 

I've colored Scarlette with pencils and accented her purse clasp with a dot of pink glitter. I've embellished simply with a bit of ribbon and a sparkly heart. It seems I am on a minimalist embellishment kick! I'm just going to roll with it....  I'm curious to know, are you a minimalist embellisher or do you like to pile them on? Do tell! Catch the Bug...New Release Tuesday

Good morning...it's New Release Day at Catch the Bug! I'm loving the image today; she is not my usual "go to" but I sure did have a good time coloring her! I found the cutest paper pad at Hobby Lobby; I love the non-traditional valentine colors and thought they were perfect for this image.

She's colored with pencils and accented with glitter. (The kitty is colored to resemble my Wendel!) I've used the sketch from Paper Craft Crew and embellished with some enamel dots. Here's a close-up:

Catch the Bug...Anything Goes

Good morning! It's the first Saturday of the month, so you know what that means...Anything Goes at Catch the Bug! I thought I would get into the Valentine spirit today since it is right around the corner. (Time to get a care package ready to send to my daughter in college!)

I used the adorable image Happy Valentine's Day to Ewe. I love coloring these ewes...good practice using the gray and black pencils! I've embellished simply with glitter and a die cut heart. I love the touch of orange in the patterned papers, it's an unexpected twist from the original Valentine colors. Here's a close-up:

Bugaboo New Release Tuesday

Good morning! It's New Release Tuesday at Catch the Bug and I love this adorable bird perched in the snow! This image is perfect for the weather we are having in the Midwest...snow...and more snow! New Release Tuesday...Monster Style

Good morning...welcome back to Day 4 of the Monster Birthday Bash at Catch the Bug! Today is New Release Day, plus we have a BINGO card for you to play! Here it is:

I went top left to bottom right: Die Cut (heart), Player's Choice (clean and simple), and Stripes (pink and blue monster). This was really a fun image to color! I used my Prisma pencils and coordinated it with one of my all time favorite patterned papers from Doodlebug (I am getting down to scraps!). I kept the layout super simple and added my signature heart die cut. This one will fit in an envelope and only require 1 stamp...woot woot!
