Fluffles Lucky Clover

Good Sunday morning to you! Today I have my card for the Corrosive Challenge Blog; the theme this week was "lucky". Since St. Patty's Day is right around the corner, I wanted to go with that theme. Click here to see the other cards by the DT. Perhaps you would like to play along!

I just love this paper. I bought it to make prize card kits for a swap I was hosting. It's double sided and has the most beautiful golden shimmer. I wish I had more, but all I have left is small scraps. I colored the buckle on the hat metallic gold and I used the antique gold brads to try and bring out the shimmer.

Image: Stampendous
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: PTI Stamper's Select and Pure Black, Reminisce DP
Embellies: Barbara Trombley's Art Glitter in "Angel Dust", Spare Parts Brads
Extras: Prismas/Goo Gone, Tim Holtz Piercing Ruler, Foam Tape

I am not sure why, but in my world, Fluffles is always white! I have seen cards in the SCS gallery where people have made him gray or orange and he is so cute in color. Maybe some day I will step out of the box....

I hope you have a great day! Don't forget to set your clock ahead!

This is so cute, I love Fluffles! I sometimes color him, but I always feel like he should be white fluffy cat! He looks great with the 4 leaf clover.

I agree -- this is awesome DP! Thanks for sharing it with me!!

Perfect take on the 'lucky' challenge and the sketch is an awesome one for showcasing the adorable image while still allowing the DP to shine!

That double sided paper is awesome. I can see why you like it so much! And it works great with the lucky theme!
