Sending you a smile...
Good morning! It's Tuesday so that means we have a new sketch for you at Tuesday Morning Sketches; this week our sponsor is DRS Designs who let me pick this adorable image and sentiment. Thank you, DRS Designs!
Here is a peek at this week's sketch:
I've colored the image with pencils; her eyes are enhanced with a black gel pen and I've added some bling to the flower in her hair. I've embellished with a die cut hibiscus and a touch of glitter.

I combined the sketch and the twist. For my BINGO I went with Bling-Digital Stamp-Embossing...yes, I really did emboss! Not pulling your leg here...I dry embossed the DP...it's just hard to see in the photo. Here's a close-up; look closely and you can see the dotted pattern:

Changito's Bunny Hop
Good morning! It's time for another challenge from Ruby's Rainbow...this fortnight our theme is Easter. I couldn't resist breaking out Changito and friends.... They are so darn cute! The one in the middle looks like he has had a few too many Reeses peanut butter eggs! LOL Do any of you like them? Go ahead...indulge...I do!
The image is colored with pencils and I added a bit of subtle glitter to their bunny ears. I kept the layout really simple because I love this DP...didn't want to cover too much of it up! I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder to add a bit of texture to the vertical panel and finished it off with some Bella Baubles.
Image: Stampendous
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Sakura Black Gel Pen
Paper: PTI Stamper's Select, Gina K. Pure Luxury (cardbase), Flair Designs DP
Embellies: Martha Stewart Crystal Fine Glitter, Bella Baubles
Extras: Prismas/Crayolas/Goo Gone, Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, Dimensionals
I am also entering this card in the following challenges:
Anything Goes Challenge Blog: Get Ready for Easter
Clear It Out Challenge Blog: Clear It Out (Easter-use pastel papers)
Oldie But A Goodie Challenge: Easter Wishes (Use something that is at least 6 months old-my favorite Easter DP)
Tip Top Tuesday: Easter or/and Animals
Totally Stampalicious: Critters
Try it on Tuesday: Easter Theme
I hope you will head on over to Ruby's Rainbow to see what the rest of girls have made to inspire you! Why not make an Easter card and play along?

Easter Joy
Good morning! I decided I like the SCS sketch challenge so much that I would make another card.... I had seen some CAS cards in the gallery and loved them, so I thought I would give it a go. I had originally put the sentiment on a pink panel, but something about it seemed "not right". It has been sitting in my work area for the past couple of days and today I decided to try to make it "right". I decided to go with a white panel and I really think it looks a lot more cohesive with the white card base. What do you think? Which do you like better?
The DP was still sitting on my table from a previous project, so I went with it.... The image is colored with pencils and accented with glitter. I used some bling to finish it off. It was quick and easy! I love that!
Image/Sentiment: Stampendous Clear Set "Chick Ears"
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: PTI Stamper's Select and Hibiscus Burst, Flair Designs DP
Embellies: Doodlebug Glitter, MAMBI Bling
Extras: Prismas/Goo Gone, Spellbinder's Nestabilities, EK Success 3D Dots
I am also entering this in this week's Corrosive Challenge, which was to use pastels. Janet is looking for another DT member, so I will throw my hat in too!
That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by...have a good one!

Easter Bunny Bella
Good morning! I just stepped outside to snap some photos, and although it is bright and sunny...it is CHILLY!
I received my order from Stamping Bella Monday of this week. I was so excited to get my new Easter stamps! As soon as I saw "Bunnyhopabella" I knew I had to have her! My SCS friend has the Halloween version; her awesome card inspired me to glitter up Bella's boots. Check out Kathleen's card: click here. Isn't that fabulous?! You can also check out her blog: click here.
Bella is colored with Prismas and then I added glitter to her boots, bunny ears, and eggs. I also punched some eggs and glittered them up; it was a wee bit messy.... As I was doing it, I again wondered why I didn't just punch the eggs out of Doodlebug sugar coated CS? Seems I also wondered this when I was applying glitter to some bats last fall....
Image: Stamping Bella
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: PTI Stamper's Select and Hibiscus Burst, Flair Design's DP
Embellies: SU! Rose Grosgrain Ribbon, Doodlebug Glitter
Extras: Prismas/Goo Gone, Marvy Egg Punch, Foam Tape
I'm headed to the store to get groceries; I need to make a couple of things this morning for an early Easter dinner. We have family here from St. Louis so the kids are very excited!
I hope you have a geat day!
