Just a quick post here.... I want to share a card I made for a co-worker who is expecting her third child in September. She is very large (and has been for months) and work is getting hard for her. I thought maybe I could make her laugh and brighten her day. I want to let her know that she looks great...she really does! She wears the cutest clothes, accessorizes beautifully, and always looks like a true fashionista.
JJ is colored with pencils and I've accented her "bump" with an arrow embellished with Swarovski flatbacks. I had a bit of DP left over, so I thought I would embellish the envie too. I am hoping Katie likes her little surprise!
Image/Sentiment: Bugaboo
Ink: Printer
Paper: PTI Stamper's Select, SU! Melon Mambo, American Crafts DP
Embellies: Swarovski Flatback Crystals
Extras: Prismas/Crayolas/Goo Gone, Spellbinder's Nestabilities, MFT Die-namics "Lead the Way" Die, Quic Kutz "Blossom" Alphabet Die, The Paper Studio Sticky Doos
I entered the card and envelope in the Dare to Get Dirty challenges over at Splitcoast Stampers. What fun they were! I have never played along before, but I will for sure again. The sketch is from Papertake Weekly...I loved it, and will use it again for sure.
Thanks for stopping by!
Angela

Completely awesome! Those last months can be sooooo hard, especially in the hot summer weather & when you're on your feet all day. She's going to love it for sure :)
Awesome card, so cheerful and beautifully colored and put together. I love it and feel it will do the trick as far as cheering her up and making her smile.
Such a cute card, and that sentiment cracks me up! I love how you decorated the envelope to match!
Fab idea--I LOVE the arrow! Your coloring is awesome as always!
What a fun card! This must have made her smile...it did make me smile. :)
