Sassy Bachelorette

Good morning!  It's Tuesday so that means another challenge from the girls at Tuesday Morning Sketches; our sponsor for the week is Sassy Studio Designs (love the sassy images!).  In addition to a sketch, this week is our judged challenge so we have a twist...the letter "E".  Here's the sketch....

I choose Sassy Bachelorette to work with; thank you to Sassy Studio Designs...I think she's gorgeous!  She's colored with pencils and her ear ring and diamond ring are accented with some crystals. She is cut out and adhered to the card; to embellish I adhered some more crystals around the edge of the card.  Not sure why they look gold in the picture, because they are pinkish hued...so pretty in real life!  For the twist, my "E" is "elegant" because a girl can be both sassy and elegant...right?!  You bet she can!

Just curious....  Do you prefer to cut your image right at the line, or do you prefer to leave a border?  I usually don't leave a border, but the image was tiny and delicate so I did with this one.

Image: Sassy Studio Designs
Ink: Printer
Paper: G.P. 110, Bazzill Bling, Doodlebug Sugar Coated CS
Embellies: Swarovski Flatback Crystals in "Crystal" and "AB"
Extras: Copic Marker, Prismas/Crayolas/Goo Gone, Spellbinder's Nestabilities

I hope you will check out the rest of the DT's lovely creations for a bit of inspiration...then try the sketch yourself!

I am also entering my card in the following challenges:

Love the sparkle! And aren't these images just so full of sassy?! Love how you coloured her in.
As for the cutting out...I try to avoid that unless I'm paper piecing! With the teeny details I'd definitely be leaving a border.

So very sassy Angela! Love all the bling! I usually leave a border around an image when I cute it out. I guess that way I don't accidentally cut anything off.

What a great card! I love her big ring and earring--so fun! Hmmm, sometimes I like cutting right on the line, but leaving a border can look good, too. My problem with leaving a border is I don't cut very straight and it shows with a border. If I mess up right on the line, I can always go in with a marker and make a new line--very forgiving. :)
