Good morning and "Happy Tuesday"! It's always fun when Tuesday rolls around, because we have another fun challenge from Melissa at Tuesday Morning Sketches! This week there will be no sketch...our challenge is to make a "Folded Frame" card. Click here to see a tutorial. Our sponsor this week is Stamp Fairy.I choose my image from the "Freebies" section. I thought he was quite quirky and fun! I colored the little guy with pencils, cut him out, and then glittered up the turquoise areas. To finish him off, I used 2 googlie eyes...love those googlie eyes!
I used some really neat DP from Daisy Bucket Designs; I found it at a scrapbooking store for 25 cents a sheet! I just love bargains like that! Anyway, it has the nicest texture, and it's double sided.

When I was working on this card, my 10 year old son asked if this was a Suzy's Zoo stamp. Are you familiar with Suzy's Zoo? The images are adorable! I was surprised to know my son was familiar with them. After I finished the card, I asked what he thought.... He said he liked it, but indicated he was too old for a card like this! LOL I was thinking I was so clever to make a "little man" card...I guess my little man is growing up!
