Sketch Saturday

Good (early) morning!  I have some fun news to share...I was asked by my former teamie Laura to be the August Guest Designer for Sketch Saturday...of course I was tickled and couldn't say "no"!  The sponsor for this week is Lee's Digi Shop...thank you so much for the adorable image!  Here is the sketch:

I've colored the image with pencils, combined some of my favorite patterned papers from my stash and added a felt flower adorned with a pearl for embellishing.  I chose this adorable image because my daughter owns a cupcake business...I thought this one would be fun to have in my stash for her!

Ink: Printer
Paper: G.P. 110, PTI Harvest Gold, SU! Ruby Red, Simple Stories Patterned Paper
Embellie: Felt Flower (PTI Harvest Gold Felt/MFT Die-namics Dies/Spare Parts Pearl)
Extras: Prismas/Crayolas/Goo Gone, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Foam Tape

You can check out the rest of the DT's creations featuring this awesome sketch here...I hope it will give it a try and play along!

Challenges entered:

Clear It Out Challenge: Sunshine and Summer: Use Yellow (stash item is yellow felt)
Shopping Our Stash: Pick 3 (flower, pearl, die cuts)

Thank you for stopping by!
