Good morning! We have a new challenge for you from the ladies at Ruby's Rainbow; for this fortnight Helen has chosen the challenge and it is "Birthday". I don't know about you, but I always need more birthday cards for my stash. I decided to go with a "man card" and chose Bugaboo's Gus to work with...the guy is a hoot!
The image is colored with pencils and Gus' eyes are dotted with a black gel pen. (How do you like his snazzy boxers?) I've done some simple matting and used stars and a few black crystals for embellishing. The fun sketch is from Sketch Saturday.

Hi Angela, thanks for joining us at Crafty Cardmakers for our humour challenge. Thanks also for bearing with us with the link moderating thing. Sadly it became necessary because of the large number of people who appeared to not have bothered to read our challenge requirements.
Love your Gus inspired card, which is beautifully coloured. I also like the fabulous vibrant background paper which is really cheery on this cold April day.
