Good morning!  I have a card to share featuring both the current From the Heart Stamps sketch and newest critter...Prickles!  This image is the June Stamp of the Month.

How to color a hedgehog?  I decided to Google pictures of one and discovered that the tips of their "prickles" are white.  I did try to do that...without much luck....  I don't feel I did this adorable critter justice!  I will keep trying!  I used some bright and cheery papers, from my stash, matted with black to make them pop; for embellishing I've used a single button.

If you have arrived from From the Heart Stamps blog, you are in the right place.  My card today features Christmas Spirit Birdbrain, the December Stamp of the Month.  I just love Faith's Birdbrains and I think this one is one of my new favorites!  The image is colored with pencils and accented with glitter.  I wanted the Birdbrain to be the "star", so I kept the layout and embellishing simple.

Don't Sweat It

Good morning!  I have a fun card to share using From the Heart Stamps February Stamp of the Month.  It's called Birthday Candle Birdbrain and has a bunch of coordinating silly sentiments; they are a hoot, you can check them out here.

The Birdbrain is colored with pencils and her eyelids and the candle are accented with subtle glitter.  I've done a bit of layering and embellished with twill and a button.  The sketch is this week's sketch, #53.  There is still time to play along with the sketch challenge and you can also earn the SOTM; you can check out the details here.
