Bugaboo Freebie Friday...AKV Fall Leaves

Good morning! It's Freebie Friday at Catch the Bug and I'm playing with the adorable AKV Fall Leaves today. I find it hard to resist that cheerful, smiling face! I've colored the image to coordinate with this fabulous patterned paper from Doodlebug; what I like so much are the not-traditional fall colors. I have to say that I love a fall card in lavender and teal! I've used a past sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #410. Here's a close-up:

FTHS March Blog Hop

Good morning!  It's time for the From the Heart Stamps March Blog Hop...our theme this month is "Spring".  Are you ready for it? I know I am! (Both the hop and spring...lol!)

As you hop along, please leave a comment on each entry. One random commenter will be selected on each blog (and the FTHS Blog!) to win their image of choice from the FTHS Store!

If you have arrived from From the Heart Stamps, you are in the right place; if not, why don't you start there so you won't miss anything?

Today I have used Prickles Says Hello and paired him with some springy colors and floral paper. He is colored with pencils and I've embellished simply with a button/banner combo.

*I do want to mention that this is a previously posted card.  I had surgery last week and am now home and recovering. Since I really wanted to participate in the hop, I had to visit my archives. The "Spring" theme really speaks to me right now...a new beginning and a new lease on life...God is good!

Hello

Good morning!  I have a card to share using one of Jodie's newest creations...a coloring page!  These really seem to be all the rage, don't they?  This is my first experience with them even though I received a book for Christmas.  I cut a piece for background paper, then colored just the one flower.  I am going to admit that it took me a long time to accomplish that...and there is no shading!  I colored while I watched t.v., then had to put my eraser to good use cleaning up my messy coloring!  LOL  Not enough light + no table = messy!  I mixed the old (label maker) with the new (coloring page, sequins) with this card; I like how it turned out.

Ink: Printer
Paper: Copy Paper, PTI Raspberry Fizz and True Black
Embellies: Bunny Bytes Designs Sequins, Dymo Label Maker
Extras: Prismas/Crayols/Goo Gone

Please check out the rest of the DT's creations at Catch the Bug for a bit of inspiration.  Have you or will you try the coloring pages?  What are your thoughts?

Thanks for stopping by!
