Snowy Mittens

Good morning!  I have a card to share using this week's From the Heart Stamps sketch...there are still a few days left in the challenge, so I hope you will play along.  One random winner will win a $5 voucher, and all who enter will win a $1 voucher to the store.  Here's the sketch:

Isn't it a great one?  Get busy!

I had some great paper in my stash that's very textured, so I thought it would be fun to paper piece the mittens.  Don't ask my why, but I thought it would be fun to get out the acrylic paint and glitter...I will say I did have fun, but made quite the mess.  LOL  Loose glitter is so much messier, in the winter, when the air is so dry...static cling!  Anyway, I painted and sprinkled to my heart's content.  I finished the card with some snowflakes embellished with Swarovski flatback crystals

Image: From the Heart Stamps "Mitten"
Ink: Printer, SU! Black Marker
Paper: G.P. 110, SU! CS (discontinued-not sure of color), Fancy Pants Designs DP
Embellies: Art Glitter in "Angel Dust", Swarovski Flatback Crystals in "Ruby"
Extras: Corner Chomper, Spellbinder's Nestabilities, MFT "Let it Snowflake" Die-namics, Foam Tape

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Die Cuttin' Divas: Winter Fun
Glitter n' Sparkle: Bling it Up
Kaboodle Doodles: Baby it's Cold Outside
Melonheadz Friends: Winter Fun
Whoopsi Daisy: Bling and Sparkle

Thank you for stopping by!
