Asian Bonsai


Good morning!  It's Tuesday, so that means it's time for a new challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  Our sponsor for the week is Clearly Digi Stamps; since this week is our judged challenge, we also have a twist...buttons and bows!  As you can see, I'm "twistless"...I just wasn't loving either on this card....

I went with a pre-colored digi and printed some matching DP from the Asian Plants set.  I love this little bonsai tree!  I've added a dry embossed panel and layered some die cut shapes.  For embellishing, I've added some Swarovski flatbacks.

    Arg, I totally missed the part about your image and papers being printed. How cool is that? I'm becoming rather fond of pre-printed images, myself. While I still enjoy coloring, pre-colored items are a boom for those time-pressured moments! Again, very nicely done.

    It might be twistless - but either just wouldn't fit the beautiful simplicity of it! I love the layered mats & that sweet image :)

    Twistless or not - it's a great card. I like how you layered the mats - looks great.
