Pretty in Pink

Good morning!  It's time for another challenge from the girls at Forever Friends...this month we are playing BINGO...which I love!

The sponsor for the randomly picked winner is Di's Digi Downloads; the winner will receive a $10 voucher to spend in their shop.

The sponsor for the "Forever Friends Favorite" is Milk Coffee Stamps; the winner will receive 3 images of their choice.  Remember, this is a judged challenge and you need to use a Forever Friends image to win!

I used a cute image from Milk Coffee (Thank you, Milk Coffee!) for my card, and I chose the top row of the BINGO card...ribbon, pink and gems.  I colored the image with pencils and embellished the image panel with Swarovski crystals.  I used a bit of ribbon in the upper left corner and a bit more in the lower right corner to embellish the handmade felt flower.  I used some paper that's been sitting in my stash for a loooong time...it has a really nice texture...it reminds me a bit of wallpaper.

Image: Milk Coffee Stamps Digital Stamp
Ink: Printer, Color Box Frost White
Paper: PTI Stamper's Select, SU! Pink Pirouette and Rose Red, Daisy Bucket Designs DP
Embellies: SU! Rose Red Grosgrain Ribbon, Swarovski Flatback Crystals in "Ruby", Handmade Felt Flower (MFT Loopy Blooms Die-namics Die/PTI Dark Chocolate Felt)
Extras: Prismas/Crayolas/Goo Gone, Spellbinder's Nestabilities, The Paper Studio Sticky Doos

I hope you will play a bit of BINGO with us...I'd love to see what you create!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Card Mania: Handmade Flowers
Cupcake Craft: Think Pink
Divas By Design: Use Some Texture
Papertake Weekly: Anything Goes/Celebration
The Crazy Challenge: Handmade Flowers
The Stamping Boutique: Pink, Pink, Pink
Through the Craftroom Door: Anything Goes
Top Tip Tuesday: Good With Food
Tuesday Throwdown: Cute and Cuddly
Sketch from Crafting When We Can

Here's my tip for Top Tip Tuesday: Be VERY CAREFUL when applying glitter to a digi image!  The glue can make the ink run and turn your lovely white frosting into a gray mess...not good!  Ask me how I know! (wink)  I'll tell you....  I added just a touch of glitter to my frosting to give it a subtle sparkle...it was a disaster!  I tried to scrape the glitter off, but that wasn't happening....  I printed another image, cut out the frosting, and adhered it over the top of the "gray mess".  All is well!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I had to laugh at 'ask me how I know' - aren't most of those tips born of something that made us swear a blue streak when they happened? Sigh! And never when you've got lots of time, that's guaranteed :)
