Got Cake?

Good morning!  I decided to take a break from pink and Halloween and go with a clean and simple card today.  I love this fun image from Clear Dollar Stamps "Birthday Celebrations" set...it made me think of good, old-fashioned yellow cake with chocolate icing...yum!

I re-sized and printed the image, colored it with pencils, diecut it with Spellbinder's dies and adhered it to a plain cardbase...no DP!  I simply scored a couple of lines and added some gingham ribbon and a button...good old-fashioned embellishments!

Image: Clear Dollar Stamps "Birthday Celebrations" Digital Set
Ink: Printer
Paper: G.P. 110, PTI Lemon Tart and Dark Chocolate
Embellies: Brown/White Gingham Ribbon (my stash), PTI Lemon Tart Button, DMC Floss
Extras: Prismas/Crayolas/Goo Gone, Spellbinder's Nestabilities, Scor-Pal, The Paper Studio Sticky Doos

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Addicted to Stamps and More!: CAS
Crafty Sentiments: Anything Goes
Robyn's Fetish: Circles
Sentimental Sundays: Anything Goes
The Cutie Pie Challenge Blog: Use a Digi

Thanks for stopping by today...I'll be back tomorrow with another Halloween card since I was able to participate in the SCS sketch challenge today.
