TMS#139

(Today's 2nd post, please scroll down or click for Creative Card Crew post.  Thank you.)

Good Tuesday Morning!  Since it's Tuesday, that means I have another fun sketch to share with you from Tuesday Morning Sketches!  This is a fun one...I like the unique shape and the fact that you can make it CAS or jazz it up a bit.

We recently went on a little trip to get some stuff for our attic addition; I couldn't pass up the opportunity to do a little bit of craft shopping too.  Do you think you could drive by your favorite craft store and not stop?   Not me!  I have always liked making baby cards and I couldn't pass up these pretty papers from the Doodlebug "Sugar and Spice" collection.  I used 3 of the papers here, but there are plenty more in my stash!  LOL  I bought a stash of the boy themed papers too....

There's very little stamping on this card; just the onesie, which I paper pieced.  I added a bit of pink glitter around the trim of the onesie just to give it a touch of sparkle...after all, most girls like a bit of sparkle!  For embellishing, I added a touch of grosgrain ribbon and some Doodlebug buttons from my stash that matched perfectly.  The finished card size is 7 1/2" x 4".

Image: PTI Bitty Baby Blessings
Paper: Gina K. Pure Luxury (this is NICE stuff!), PTI Dark Chocolate, Doodlebug DP
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, SU! Black Marker
Embellies: SU! Chocolate Grosgrain Ribbon, Doodlebug Buttons (DMC floss), Doodlebug Glitter
Extras: Spellbinders Nestabilities, Dimensionals

I am also entering this card in the following challenges:

Card Makin' Mamas: Buttons
Delicious Doodles: The Wonder of Life
S J Krafts: 1,2,3 (1 image, 2 fibers: ribbon/floss, 3 DP) Added Extra: include 3 of something (buttons)
The Paper Shelter: Paper Piecing
Waste Not Wednesday: Use Your Forgotten Stuff (Doodlebug buttons...have had these for 3-4 years!)

I hope you will head on over to the TMS blog to check out what the rest of the DT has in store for you; hope to see you play along too!

Thanks for stopping by!
