Hello! I know a lot of people don't eat as much ice cream when it's cold, but I am always up for ice cream...and cute chicks! Even when it's cold.... I keep wondering when it is going to warm up. It was below zero this morning again! Hope you are keeping warm wherever you are located.Anyway, back to the card.... Today's sketch challenge on SCS turned out to be CAS for me, which was a surprise. Usually I do multiple layers with the sketches. The trick to this sketch was finding an image to fit the small panel; I knew I could resort to a sentiment, but then I remembered these chicks. They are colored with pencils and their eyes are dotted with a black gel pen. As I was looking through my stash for some paper, I came across this pretty pink pattern and thought it would be perfect; it reminded me of neopolitan ice-cream. The image is cut with a Spellbinder's die. I Cuttlebugged the background panel and added a bit of ribbon. It came together quickly, which is unusual for me.
