Happy Halloween! It's a bit early I guess, but what a great idea to celebrate "Halloween in July"! I love making Halloween cards; it was a toss up between scary and cute, but I opted for cute when I saw this new Tiddly Inks image "Candy Avenger". Now that is the kind of super hero I would like to be! Do you see the evidence written all over her face, in the form of a Hershey bar?The image is colored with pencils and accented with glitter. I used purple on her outfit and yellow on the pumpkin. Her dress is paper pieced; I also did a bit of sponging around the edges to add definition. The DP is by Doodlebug and I used a Cuttlebug Doodlebug die for the bat, skull, and candy corn. It was easy to make my own decorative pins; I just used straight pins and foam tape. The shapes are cut from Doodlebug sugar coated cardstock, but it is hard to see the sparkle in the photo.
