Hello! I discovered a sketch on the Stampendous blog yesterday and decided to play along. I figured if there was "Christmas in July", why not "Halloween in July"? I LOVE making Halloween cards!This was a pretty simple sketch, which is nice because it leaves the options open for embellishing! I went with minimal layers which is something I don't often do, so it was a bit quicker to complete than some cards.
I asked DD what she thought of the clouds and moon...she told me she would take them off. I know clouds aren't usually black, but they are at night.... Right? I opted to leave them on; I think it looks fun and different. I also used a bit of black grosgrain ribbon and some Swarovskis to finish it off.
