Stella is colored with pencils, her crown and wand are accented with glitter, and I sponged a bit to "dirty" up the image panel. I like the way the paper is aged and shabby looking, so I tried to make the rest of the card a bit shabby too. I really love the shabby chic look, but I don't really know how to pull it off.... I would love to hear some pointers; please leave a comment with your favorite tip.
Image: Stamping Bella
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, SU! Soft Suede (for sponging)
Paper: PTI Vintage Cream, Dark Chocolate and Kraft, Basic Grey Nook & Pantry DP
Embellies: Buttons (my stash), PTI Rustic Jute Button Twine, PTI Dark Chocolate Twill, Doodlebug Glitter
Extras: Prismas/Crayolas/Goo Gone
I'm so glad you stopped by; have a great Friday!

Angela, i like your shabby look ! I make it like i feel. Here a bit sponging and there a bit and mostly it looks good. If not, i try it again. LOL
ReplyDeleteI like how you added the buttons. It looks great to the image and the paper. Beautiful.

I love the distressing! I think it looks great.
ReplyDeleteWonderful combination of DPs and buttons -- they really pop on the kraft background! Now let's hope Stella is using those scissors for good things because she does have a bit of glint in her eye....
ReplyDeleteAwesome combination of all the Patterned paper and buttons and coloring of stella is just ab fab....

Well, I don't have any tips, but I think you are doing great getting that look you want. I love the sponged ink, and all of these papers together are fabulous!
